Eiffage and Entech have announced an agreement to create a joint venture dedicated to the design and integration of storage systems, the construction of the substation for connection to the high-voltage grid, control tools and battery security.

The large-scale projects targeted are battery storage units located in mainland France and connected to the high-voltage grid (HTB, from 50 to 400 kV). The two partners are already working on several projects.

The joint venture will be 60% owned by Eiffage Énergie Systèmes and 40% by Entech, with equal governance. It should be officially created within two to three months, following approval by the relevant corporate bodies, regulators and authorities.
